Welcome to the DWPub blog

OK, so launching a blog is not big news. But we felt it was about time we had a place to share what DWPub is up to and our insights into the media industry.

So this blog will be a combination of news about DWPub plus perspectives on journalism and PR from the DWPub team.

Every day we’re working closely with journalists, bloggers, PR professionals and marketing people and that puts us in a special position to observe media trends. This blog is all about providing a channel for us to share these insights.

Hopefully what we have to talk about will be useful in its own right. We also hope it will help people understand how closely we work with the media and this will reflect the value of the information services we provide.

I already have my own blog – the DWPubSporadic – which I have been writing, sporadically of course, since 2005. This will continue, albeit possibly even more sporadically. The main difference with the new blog will be that it will have multiple authors from the DWPub team. But beyond that I don’t want to be too prescriptive about it as one of the wonderful things about blogging is it’s organic nature – we’ll see how it evolves.

In the meantime I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on what sort of stuff you’d like to see here.
