Media Interview with Rebecca Glenapp, co founder of LUX FIX Studio

About LUX FIX Studio

What was the motivation behind the launch?

LUX FIX  (www.lux-fix.com) was founded by two desk-bound girls looking for a little luxury fix to get them through the day. Our blog, LUX FIX Studio, features regular contributions from some of the most exciting names in luxury fashion as well as our super stylish guest bloggers.

What subjects do you cover? What stories are you most interested in covering?

We focus on fashion but also cover art, travel, music and film.

What makes you different from the other outlets in your sector?

Our fabulous style contributors! We have featured style profiles on everyone from actress Felicity Jones and the FT’s Vanessa Friedman to Polly Bean, the world’s only cartoon supermodel.

About PRs:

Do you work closely with PRs or do you keep them at arm’s length?

We work with them. We love PRs.

How should a PR approach you about their client?

Email me directly on rebecca@lux-fix.com

About you:

Describe a typical day at work: What are your editorial duties/responsibilities at the outlet (e.g. commissioning, subbing, features, interviewing)?

LUX FIX is unusual in that we are a luxury service which gives users insider access to the current collections, with edits, offers and editorial curated by the designers themselves. A good part of my day is spent liaising with contributors, interviewees and, most importantly, designers.

What interests you most about your job?

All of it! It’s amazing to work in such an exciting area where content meets commerce.

Do you tweet?

Yes, @luxfix. We find it an excellent way to form relationships with people.
