2011 State Street Institutional Press Awards winners announced
The winners of the tenth annual State Street Institutional Press Awards have been announced.
The awards recognise outstanding performance in institutional financial services reporting.
The 2011 Awards will honour the contribution of journalists covering institutional investment, pensions, and investor services & technology issues over the past year. This year, State Street – leading provider of financial services to institutional investors – announced the addition of new awards categories including News Journalist of the Year and Best Editorial Comment.
This year’s winners include Steve Johnson, deputy editor at Financial Times, who took home the Journalist of the Year award for Pensions Issues and Nationals. Jenna Towler, news editor at Professional Pensions, also won the Journalist of the Year award for Trade, whilst Magda Ali, Structured Products’ reporter, scooped the award for Best Newcomer.
