Aberdeen & District Independent editor retires

Aberdeen & District Independent editor Derek Pyper has retired.

Replacing him is Angus Begg, who had been working as chief subeditor on the paper since 1999.

Begg, who has also worked on the Dunfermline Press and the Perthshire Advertiser, said he was “looking forward to the new role and the new challenge”.
