The winners of this year's ABSW (Association of British Science Writers) Awards have been announced.

Freelancer Angela Saini scooped the award for "Best news item" for her article The formula for justice published in The Guardian, whilst chief features editor Helen Pearson won "Best feature" for her article Study of a lifetime published in Nature.
