Alan Ducat leaves Brechin Advertiser

Brechin Advertiser editor, Alan Ducat, is leaving the weekly newspaper after 37 years in journalism.

Ducat's final day is tomorrow, Friday 17 August.

He began his career as junior reporter for the Forfar Dispatch, working his way up to editor, before taking editorship of the Kirriemuir Herald and finally the Brechin Advertiser, which he has held for the past decade.
