ComputerAndVideoGames.com (CVG), Future Publishing’s flagship games news website, has announced three new editorial appointments.

Deputy editor Andy Robinson has been promoted to editor of the title. He will oversee a team that, according to Future, leads the world in breaking gaming news with more than 1,000 items of content a month, 24 hours a day, from the UK, USA and Australia.

Rob Crossley has been appointed as associate editor. He joins from Intent Media’s Develop where he was online editor.

Finally John Houlihan, current editor-in-chief has been promoted to digital manager. In his new role he will be responsible for keeping CVG at the forefront of online publishing.

Robinson said: “CVG is at the cutting-edge of global gaming news and I am delighted to be appointed editor. To lead a full-strength team into the next stage of the site’s evolution is an incredibly exciting opportunity.”
