The Yorkshire Evening Post has promoted Hannah Thaxter to Editor, replacing former Editor Nicola Furbisher.

Hannah’s promotion from her role as Communities Content Editor for Johnston Press’s Yorkshire publishing unit will see Kath Finlay step into the post on an interim basis.

Ian Day has also been appointed to Deputy Editor for both the Yorkshire Post and the Yorkshire Evening Post.
