Assistant editor of the Aylesbury-based Bucks Herald, Tim Green, has now left the newspaper.

It is understood the position will not be replaced, which also included editorial responsibilities on sister paper the Thame Gazette & Bucks Advertiser.

It was reported last week in the Media Bulletin that deputy editor Peter Davidson left the newspaper in early August.
