UK-headquartered Babel PR has appointed Caroline Kawashima as executive vice president and U.S. head for its San Francisco operations.

Kawashima joins from Golin where she headed the company’s enterprise technology practice and throughout the course of her career has led campaigns for global technology brands including Autodesk, Equinix, HP, Sybase/SAP and Microsoft and Quantum Corp.

Prior to the appointment of Kawashima, U.S. campaigns were managed from Babel UK and implemented by a team based in San Francisco. The agency focuses on B2B markets. Its existing clients include Axell Wireless, BICS, Devicescape, Infobip, Intercede, Fastback Networks, MailChannels, Ruckus Wireless and Tektronix Communications.
