Bath Chronicle editor steps down

Sam Holliday, editor in chief of Bath News and Media, has decided to step down from his role after six and half years.

Holliday, who currently edits the Bath Chronicle, Somerset Standard and Somerset Guardian, began his career on his home town newspaper, the Tamworth Herald in 1983 as a news reporter. In 2005 he became editor in chief of Bath News and Media.

Holliday will leave on June 1 and will play an active role in appointing his successor.
