Bauer Media relaunches Kerrang! website

Bauer Media has relaunched the website for Kerrang!, the weekly music magazine and multi-platform youth brand for all rock genres.

Edited by Kerrang! news and digital editor John Longbottom, who reports directly to editor James McMahon along with contributing digital editor Emily Carter, kerrang.com has redefined itself as a social news and entertainment site providing young digitally engaged rock fans with shareable breaking news, hot lists, video, audio and mini-interviews.

Kerrang.com is tablet and mobile optimised and integrates Kerrang! TV, K! Radio Player and the brand’s social media channels on Twitter and Facebook.

Launch partners, brokered by media agencies the7stars and Sold Out, include Festival Republic, Atlantic Records, Cooking Vinyl and Aloud.com. They will utilise the new creative outlets on the site to promote forthcoming gigs and album releases.

Publisher David Bostock said: “We’re really proud of the new site, it will enable clients to serve advertising messages targeted by device, region and channel as well as delivering clickable skins, high impact billboards, double MPUs and homepage to site-wide takeovers. We’re looking forward to working with partners looking on cross-platform commercial solutions and branded native advertising content.”

Kerrang.com launched on Monday 7 April.
