BBC Countryfile magazine appoints editor

BBC Countryfile magazine has appointed Fergus Collins as editor.

Collins, who has succeeded Cavan Scott as editor, was previously features editor of BBC Wildlife magazine.

Scott, who edited Countryfile magazine for two years, has stepped down from the role to concentrate on his own writing and freelance work.

BBC Countryfile Magazine produces 13 issues per year and is published by BBC Magazines Bristol.
