BBC Somerset appoints breakfast reporter

BBC Somerset has appointed Emma Britton as breakfast presenter. 

Britton joined BBC Somerset in 2003 as a programme contributor, working from 2007 as a broadcast assistant/producer before becoming the mid-morning presenter in January 2009.

She will start the role on 9 September, with Ben McGrail presenting the mid-morning programme from 9.00am until 12.00noon and Matt Faulkner presenting the drive-time show from 4.00pm until 7.00pm as part of the changes.
