BBC World Service launches BBC Minute

BBC World Service launched a "pacey new one-minute news summary" on 1 April. The programme, called BBC Minute, is updated twice an hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and covers topics trending on social media as well as international news headlines, entertainment, science, tech, and sport. The service is available for download on iTunes, can be viewed on iPlayer, and is also being distributed via partnerships with radio music stations across the globe, particularly those aimed at listeners under 35.
