Berkeley PR hires Holly Stevens as content director

Berkeley PR has hired former Gartner PR manager Holly Stevens as content director.

Stevens joins the Theale-based consultancy with more than 18 years’ PR experience, including five in-house at technology research and advisory company Gartner and a further five years at a technology PR agency. She will also lead the company’s analyst-relations programme and reports to head of content Tilly Travers.

“The newly created content-director role forms part of Berkeley PR’s expanding content-creation team, which spearheads our approach to storytelling in the digital age,” said Paul Stallard, director of Berkeley PR. “I have tracked Ms Stevens’ career almost from the beginning and her knowledge across the breadth of the IT industry, her respect among the analyst community and her solid writing skills made her the first choice for content director.”

The senior hiring follows the recruitment of six NCTJ-accredited communications journalists to Berkeley PR’s content-creation team in 2012. Stevens will also take a central role in training Berkeley PR’s copywriters.

“Berkeley PR’s dedication to quality writing and storytelling matches what I have evangelised throughout my career,” said Stevens. “Berkeley has a clear understanding of not only where the conversation is but in generating conversations that engage its clients’ key influencers.”
