Anne Spackman, formerly editor in chief of Times Online, is moving to the printed paper to become content editor.

Her old position will not be filled.

Tom Whitwell will become assistant editor of the Times Online leaving his role as communities editor, whilst Hector Arthur, previously head of content development, is the new head of digital development for the website.
