Daily newspaper the Birmingham Post is set to be published weekly from Thursday 12 November.

The weekly edition will be launched as a multi-media brand, being available both online on a daily basis and providing a broader look at the major issues in the region in a weekly print format.

Editor Marc Reeves has announced that he will be leaving the newspaper.

The change is part of proposals made by publishing company Trinity Mirror in July.
