Black White Denim, an independent premium womenswear concept boutique and online store, has appointed Jordan McDowell as full-time communications manager.

McDowell, a freelance journalist and fashion blogger, has worked on a part-time basis alongside the online transactional business' MD and founder, Jo Davies, and her team since the company launched in March 2011. He has been managing the brand’s social media channels whilst completing his final year of an English Literature degree at the University of Manchester.

McDowell will head up the company’s communications strategy and improve awareness of the Black White Denim concept and brand on the national stage. As well as continued management of the brand’s expanding social media portfolio, he will also head up press relations from the Wilmslow office and curate internal brand training programmes for staff.
