British Journalism Review’s presentation of the Charles Wheeler Award

The British Journalism Review presented this year’s Charles Wheeler Award for Outstanding Contribution to Broadcast Journalism to BBC special correspondent Allan Little.

The award was presented to him by Lady Wheeler, the widow of renowned BBC journalist Charles Wheeler, at a ceremony at the University of Westminster.

Previous winners of the award are Newsnight presenter Jeremy Paxman, the BBC’s Middle East editor Jeremy Bowen, and international editor of Channel 4 News, Lindsey Hilsum.
