Capital & Regional, the property investment company, has handed a five-figure brief to integrated communications agency, Lava PR, following a three-way pitch.
The entrepreneurial property company, which has a record of developing asset management opportunities in town centre shopping centres and out of town retail parks, has asked Lava to deliver a proactive communications campaign, comprising PR, social media and graphic design to support the Waterside Shopping Centre in Lincoln.
A three-strong team led by Managing Director Matt Hammerton will report to National Marketing Manager Izzie Peskett.
Capital & Regional acquired the Waterside Shopping Centre in February 2011 and will embark on a multi-million pound redevelopment of the 20-year-old centre in 2012. The three-storey mall currently serves the needs of 87,000 shoppers each week and houses 50 retailers including Primark, Topshop, New Look, Oasis, O2, Vodafone, 3 Mobile and Burger King.
