Carnegy becomes Solent’s new managing editor

BBC Radio Solent has appointed Chris Carnegy as managing editor.

Carnegy, who has previously helped run a number of stations in the south of England, will step into the role on 20 April. He will be replacing Mia Costello, who left on the 13 March to pursue a 12-month attachment at the BBC’s College of Journalism.
