Lucie Cave has been appointed editor of Heat magazine.

Writing on Twitter she said, “I have been officially appointed as Editor of the mighty mag that is Heat. What a very exciting day.”

She joined the magazine in 2003, and has been acting editor since December, when former editor Sam Delaney left.
