Centaur Media closes print editions of Design Week and New Age Media

Centaur Media, the business magazines publisher, is to close print editions of New Media Age and Design Week.

The last editions of the titles will hit shelves this week, although both will continue as online publications, and the New Media Age name will be used as a monthly digital marketing supplement for Marketing Week.

The closure is as a result of the ongoing digital migration at Centaur which is attempting to accelerate the pace of revenue and margin growth. It is expected that more than 60 jobs will go and several titles will be put up for sale. Remaining titles will be restructured into three divisions: legal and financial industries, marketing and creative industries, and engineering and corporate services.
