Ceva appoints Euro RSCG PR

Ceva Animal Health has appointed Manchester’s Euro RSCG PR to provide consumer and trade PR support.

Euro RSCG has been tasked with raising awareness and driving sales of Adaptil and Feliway, comforting pheromones for de-stressing dogs and cats respectively, alongside trade PR support for Ceva’s veterinary medicine range and charitable activity.

Account director Claire Boyd will lead the Ceva team, supported by senior account manager Nicola Watson.

Euro RSCG will educate a target audience of dog and cat owners, vets, breeders and kennel staff about canine and feline stress with a series of seasonal PR activities, which will peak at those times of year associated with heightened anxiety such as the holiday season and Guy Fawkes Night.

Other activity will include educational road shows and the launch of a Behavioural Advisor scheme aimed at vets, nurses, charity staff, pet shops and opinion leaders.

Malcolm Laurie, marketing manager at Ceva Animal Health, said: “Euro RSCG won us over with a strong, creative pitch that showed the team had a thorough understanding of our target audiences.”

Euro RSCG’s Claire Boyd said: "We’re really happy to be working for Ceva. They are a fantastic team and as animal lovers, we’re really looking forward to highlighting a range of products that can help pets keep happy and healthy.

“We’ve planned a creative but hard-hitting PR campaign that will help drive Ceva’s key messages across to cat and dog owners in the UK.”
