Changes at BBC Radio Wales
BBC Radio Wales is making the following changes to its programme schedule in September.
Previous drivetime presenters Felicity Edwards and Oliver Hides will host breakfast programme Good Morning Wales along with current presenter Bethan Rhys Roberts.
Former breakfast show presenter, Sarah Dickens, will move to drivetime show Good Evening Wales, which will start at a new time of 5pm, following an hour’s extension of Roy Noble’s afternoon programme. The drivetime show will include a 10-minute dedicated sports slot every evening with Steve James.
Features such as Wales At Work, Science Café and the Radio Wales Arts Show will move to a regular 7pm slot on weekdays.
These changes to the weekday schedule will take place from 6 September.
From 12 September, a new political programme will be broadcast on Sundays at 8am. Music programme String Of Pearls and All Things Considered will now start 30 minutes later at 9am and 9.30am respectively.
