Sportsister has announced new distribution outlets for Sportsister, its free women’s sports magazine.

Starting with the current issue (January 2012) Sportsister magazine is now available from an extensive selection of outlets across the UK. The new outlets include several of the leading nationwide gym chains such as Fitness First, LA Fitness, Curves, Living Well and Nuffield Health, Fitness and Wellbeing. In addition to this they have also secured distribution with over 200 independent leisure centres nationwide and a number of leading spas.

To coincide with this expansion Sportsister is also undergoing its ABC certification with the aim of achieving an ABC of 60,000 in June 2012.

The magazine has also just increased its frequency to monthly and its pagination from 36 to 52. A revamped website (Sportsister.com) was also launched in November 2011 with improved navigation, functionality and content.
