The Eastern Daily Press (EDP) has announced a series of staff changes, following the departure of business editor Chris Starkie.

Paul Hill, previously night news editor, replaces Starkie, who left the Norwich-based title in April to become chief executive of lobby group Shaping Norfolk’s Future.

Mark Nicholls, previously health correspondent, is now night news editor. A new health correspondent has not yet been appointed.

Adam Aiken was recently appointed deputy business editor.

The EDP is a morning paper covering Norfolk, North Suffolk and East Cambridgeshire, and is published by Archant Norfolk.
