Changes to the BBC Radio 1Xtra schedule

BBC Radio 1 xtraBBC Radio 1Xtra has confirmed that Ace will be the presenter of 1Xtra morning (weekdays, 10am-1pm), taking over from Trevor Nelson from January 2017.

Trevor Nelson will be the presenter of the 4-7pm weekend show on Saturdays and Sundays. Trevor’s Saturday show will play current RnB, while his Sunday show will focus on old school RnB classics.

Further changes to the BBC Radio 1Xtra schedule:

Mim Shaikh will be the new host of 1Xtra’s weekend breakfast show (6-10am).
Twin B will host Mondays, 10pm-1am.
DJ Target takes over from MistaJam (Mon-Thu, 7-10pm), and continues with his Friday, 7-10pm show, as well as his simulcast show across both networks on Saturdays (1-4am).
Monki continues with her Radio 1 and 1Xtra Sunday show (1-4am).
