Changes coming up for Silver and McGarry at Stylist

Stylist beauty editor Samantha Silver will take on the role of beauty director on 9 September. Also on this day, associate editor (beauty) Joanna McGarry will step down from her position to study for a degree in Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture, becoming beauty director-at-large on the magazine.

Silver’s beauty director role will encompass all of Stylist’s beauty editorial across print and online as well as the brand’s extensions, including the annual beauty edition and the Best Beauty Awards.

McGarry’s beauty director-at-large role will involve contributing features and shoots on a monthly schedule.
