Cheshire’s Silk expands range

Silk 106.9 in Cheshire has tripled its broadcast area after being given permission to do so by Ofcom.

The station now broadcasts to an area populated by 1.4 million people; 500,000 people in East Cheshire and South Manchester receive its highest quality coverage.

The station broadcasts music, speech and local news from its studio in Macclesfield.
