Chilango chooses ING MEDIA for PR

Chilango, the Mexican restaurant group has turned to ING MEDIA to promote its expansion throughout London in 2011.

After winning three awards in 2010, including “Best New Concept” by the Retailer’s Retailer of the Year Awards, the fast-casual Mexican restaurant group has plans to open a handful of new sites in London in 2011. Chilango opened its first restaurant in Islington in 2007, after owners Eric Partaker and Dan Houghton noticed a gap in the UK market for high quality, fresh Mexican food.

ING MEDIA’s brief is to implement a communications campaign with a focus on media relations, as it aims to increase brand awareness and differentiate Chilango from other Mexican restaurants in the UK. ING will also assist Chilango with social media communications, marketing promotions and event management for each of the restaurants, including two locations in London, as well as Bluewater and Meadowhall Shopping Centres.

Formed in 1999, ING Media is a PR and communications agency helping organisations build their profiles by devising and implementing strategies that give clients authoritative, unique and memorable voices in the media.

Located in Shoreditch, the agency specialises in developing communications campaigns for clients in the food and drink, lifestyle, architecture and design, and regeneration sectors, with clients from the UK and around the world.
