CIPR Scotland PRide Awards 2011 Winners announced

The winners of the 2011 CIPR Scotland PRide Awards were announced last night at the Radisson Blu hotel in Glasgow.

Over 310 guests gathered for the annual award ceremony to celebrate the achievements of public, private and third sector communicators together with individual practitioners. Catriona Shearer hosted the proceedings with assistance from Scottish CIPR Fellows and Committee members who presented the awards.

The Scottish awards attracted 131 entries, showcasing the strength of communications across 25 categories including integrated communications, best use of social media and community relations.

The Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy title went to Weber Shandwick Scotland who picked up a further eight awards throughout the evening.

Awards for the best outstanding in-house public relations team and Scottish public sector team of the year were awarded to Scottish Enterprise, whilst Wave PR picked up the best small consultancy award for the fourth year running.
