City editor leaves Liverpool Daily Post

Larry Neild, city editor at the Liverpool Daily Post, is leaving the paper after 37 years to become a radio presenter.

Neild, who has worked continuously at the Post since joining as a trainee photographer in 1970, is leaving at the end of November.

He will join new Liverpool radio station City Talk as their drivetime presenter between 4pm and 7pm on weekdays.

City Talk is scheduled to launch in January 2008.
