Claire Irvin joins The River Group from Bauer Media

The River Group has appointed Claire Irvin as editorial content director across River’s portfolio of clients including Superdrug, Honda, Weight Watchers, and Holland & Barrett. She will be responsible for editorial rigour, quality, innovation and creativity across all content channels including mobile and video.

Titles produced by The River Group include Holland & Barrett titles Healthy and Healthy For Men, Weight Watchers Magazine, Honda's Dream and Superdrug's DARE magazine and Look at Me blog.

Irvin joins from her editor-in-chief role at Bauer Media's parenting portfolio, which included Mother & Baby. She has previously served as editor of SHE, Sugar and ELLE Girl, editor-at-large of Grazia, acting editor of Company, and editorial consultant for women’s glossies such as Red and InStyle.

A replacement editor-in-chief at Bauer Media's parenting portfolio is yet to be confirmed.
