Community Newswire reopens

By Staff

20th September 2011

Community Newswire, the news agency which gives marginalised and disadvantaged people a voice, has reopened after receiving funding from the Big Lottery Fund.

The agency was closed as a result of government cuts earlier in the year but will now be able to continue it’s work helping charities, communities and citizen journalists get their stories into national and regional press.

A Press Association news editor for this will soon be announced.
