Computeractive, the consumer computing magazine, has unveiled a new iPad app.

The app gives users the chance to read the latest technology news and product reviews.

The app is designed to take full advantage of the tablet interface, utilizing the display with components that can be hidden and revealed by the user. The app also offers video content and animated step-by-step workshops to guide readers through projects and help them understand the pros and cons of new products.

The first download of the app is free, with forthcoming versions costing £2.49. A subscription to the app is available for £4.99 for three versions. It is available through iTunes and can be downloaded here.
