Hospitality marketing and PR agency Custard Communications has hired former Hospitality magazine editor Sophie Allcock as communications manager.

In this role Allcock is responsible for the strategic direction and hands-on implementation of all communication, particularly client editorial, newsletter and website management, campaign creative, scheduling and copywriting.

Her most recent role saw her as Group Editor of three technology business magazines in Auckland, New Zealand, from where she has just returned after two years.

Prior to this, Sophie was involved in driving PR opportunities and designing marketing campaigns for Honda motorcycles in New Zealand and before leaving London in 2009, she spent three years as the Editor of the Institute of Hospitality’s well-regarded business publication, Hospitality magazine.
