D.C. Thomson appoints editor-in-chief

D.C. Thomson has appointed Eileen McGinley as editor-in-chief of girls’ magazines.

McGinley will drive the strategic vision of portfolio publications Animals and You, Shout, The Official Jacqueline Wilson Mag and their brand extensions.

McGinley, who starts her role in April, previously held the position of innovations editor within the consumer magazines department.
