Daily Post hires news editor

Debbie James has been appointed as news editor at the Daily Post Wales.

She was previously deputy news editor at the Liverpool Daily Post.

Former news editor Will Batchelor left in September to work as a producer on Emap’s new Merseyside-based talk radio station CityTalk due to launch in January 2008.

The Daily Post Wales deputy editor, Gregg Fray is leaving the title to move to take up a senior role on a newspaper launching in Abu Dhabi.

Trinity Mirror’s Daily Post Wales covers the north of the country six days a week and has a circulation of 38,332.
