Dan Wootton to be the face of Bizarre

The Sun has appointed Dan Wootton to be the face of the Bizarre column, retaining the title of head of showbiz.

The move coincides with a revamp of Bizarre that will see it relaunched, with its old logo and red colour scheme revived. 'BizMetre' has also been introduced as part of the relaunch which will provide readers with tips from the world of entertainment, and the daily 'BizTicker' will link to the daily showbiz coverage available on Sun+, including celebrity videos and 'BizSessions'.

Wootton’s Sunday showbiz column is to be relaunched as 'Biz on Sunday' and will be edited by Andy Halls, who joined The Sun as a graduate trainee in 2011, and Sun on Sunday journalist Natalie Edwards.
