Waitrose Food Illustrated faces changes to its editorial team following the departure of commissioning editor Rachel de Thample.

De Thample leaves the publishing industry to join Abel & Cole, the organic food company.

A replacement will not be sought for the commissioning editor position. Instead, the Appetisers section will now be overseen by Sian Townsend, currently PA to the editor. Townsend’s new job title has not yet been confirmed.
