Departure from BBC Northern Ireland

BBC Northern Ireland political correspondent Martina Purdy is leaving the corporation after over 20 years in journalism. 

During her career, 15 years of which were at the BBC, Purdy has worked on radio and online news, documentaries, election specials, as well as daily and weekly television content. She leaves to join a religious congregation.
