IPC Media has appointed Luke Lewis as deputy editor of NME.com.

Lewis will be working on the American market for the website, expanding its use of blogs and online videos.

Lewis had previously worked as an associate editor at Q magazine, published by Bauer London Lifestyle.

David Moynihan, editor of NME.com, says this experience will be the “perfect addition to the NME brand as it grows in strength across print, web, mobile, radio and TV”.

NME.com is published by IPC Media as an accompanyment to its weekly NME magazine.
