Deputy editor leaves Western Daily Press
Stephen White, deputy editor and travel editor at the Western Daily Press, has left the Bristol-based daily.
He took redundancy last Friday (9 April) when the paper’s content gathering was centralised with sister paper the Western Morning News in Plymouth.
White worked for the Daily Press for eight and a half years as features editor and then assistant editor. He had been deputy editor for the last four years.
He is currently considering a number of options, including a new career in travel PR.
White can be contacted on +44 (0)7715 770 236 or at white@gotadsl.co.uk.
Travel news for the Western Daily Press will now be covered by group features editor Tim Davey.
