DFDS Seaways has appointed Westgate Communications to provide PR support for the ferry operator's six routes from the UK to France, Holland and Denmark.

Westgate, which has been running a PR programme to support the two routes from Dover to France for the last four years, will provide a full press office function for all six routes from the UK, as well as implement high impact PR initiatives targeting national, broadcast and regional media targets. The agency will also be maximising all PR opportunities, on and off line, by working closely with the company’s social and SEO teams.

In the UK, DFDS Seaways operates passenger ferry services on routes from Dover to Calais, Dover to Dunkirk, Harwich to Esbjerg, Newcastle to Amsterdam, Newhaven to Dieppe and Portsmouth to Le Havre.
