Dixon appointed editor at Western Daily Press
Tim Dixon has been appointed editor at the Northcliffe-owned Western Daily Press.
Dixon joins the paper after his editorship at sister title the Western Gazette. He replaces Andy Wright, who will retire on 12 April.
This follows Northcliffe’s decision to merge the production desks of the Daily Press with the Western Morning News under editor-in-chief Alan Qualtrough.
Dixon has edited the weekly title the Western Gazette since 2006. Previously, he was deputy editor of the Express & Echo (Exeter) and has worked on the Leicester Mercury and the Nottingham Evening Post.
