Juice Digital, the award-winning social media specialist agency, has appointed Ben Aronson as MD as it sets out on an aggressive growth plan.
Juice, which was acquired by Tangerine Group in 2009 from founder and MD Steve Downes, has seen impressive growth in the past two years and has doubled its team to eight people, gained a raft of new, national clients including Peugeot UK, Mars Drinks, Johnson Cleaners and Cartridge World as well as collecting myriad awards.
Over the last six months Downes has worked with Tangerine towards his exit from Juice, as he sets up his own strategic consultancy. He is also keen to fulfill a lifelong ambition to write the definitive book on social media.
With more than 10 years experience, Aronson, a US national from New York has worked at some of the leading agencies in the States, including, most recently, MWW Group, which is one of America’s most awarded agencies, supporting clients including McDonalds, Nikon, Zumba and Samsung.
“Ben will add even more strategic weight and global brand experience to the digital side of our business,” commented Sandy Lindsay, group MD.
“We have ambitious growth plans for the next six months and we’re keen to learn from Ben’s experience and expertise in this area as well as in the area of truly integrated, channel neutral campaigns. Social media was born in the US and continues to drive the agenda – Ben will help us stay ahead and build on our already strong position.”
