Dynamo launches Koubachi Wi-Fi sensor
Dynamo has been appointed by Swiss-based company Koubachi to launch and promote its Wi-Fi Plant Sensor and apps in international English speaking markets.
The sensor is placed in the soil of a pot plant to monitor the key vitality parameters of a plant, which is then sent to the user's smartphone.
Dynamo will be focusing on international media relations, social media management and PPC/SEO campaigns for Koubachi. In addition, the agency has appointed Martin Coul who runs The Coul Room in Lausanne to head up Swiss and German account management and business development.
Peter Bowles, creative MD for Dynamo, says: “The market for the ‘internet of things’ represents a huge opportunity for us at Dynamo. IDG estimates that the market could be worth more than £2bn in five years, and we’re already seeing incredible innovation with devices like Koubachi, the Pebble Watch and the Nike FuelBand coming out this year.”
