The Ecologist is to end its print edition after almost 40 years and from 19 June will become an online only title.

A statement on the magazine’s website said: “This change means we can reach a much wider audience, and provide them with better quality, more up to date news and analysis, as well as substantially reducing our own environmental footprint.”

The May, June and July editions of the Ecologist will be printed, with the website relaunching in June.
